The recovery center Florida locations operated by JC’s Recovery Center are unlike other programs you will find here in the Sunshine State. Substance use and mental health disorders can sometimes feel imprisoning—but freedom is always possible, through clinical intervention and faith in a Higher Power. At JC’s Recovery Center, we believe in the importance of both. We are an evidence-based and faith-based treatment facility that provides compassionate care to those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. We employ a variety of treatment approaches and therapies that are personalized to meet each individual’s needs; our program is modeled after the 12-Step Program but also powerfully reaffirms the importance of God’s Word.

All are welcome here; our faith-based center embraces anyone who struggles with addiction and needs help in a PHP, IOP or outpatient-treatment capacity. Our mission is to provide the life skills and tools needed for a lifelong commitment to recovery and ultimate freedom from substance use.

What We Treat

JC’s Recovery Center is a dual diagnosis treatment center. We have clinical experience in the treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. Often, addiction is presents at the same time as depression, schizophrenia or a personality disorder; these are called co-occurring disorders. Before the addiction can be treated the underlying mental illness must also be diagnosed and addressed, otherwise it might sabotage all efforts made toward freedom from addiction.

We offer treatment for those who struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol—and especially those whose addiction includes other, co-occurring conditions and mental health disorders.

Substance Abuse

Substance abuse can sometimes start as an act of self-medication; many of our clients initially turned to drugs or alcohol as a way of coping with deeper struggles, such as depression or PTSD. In other cases, the addiction is rooted in genetics, brain chemistry or something else altogether. We believe addiction to be a three-pronged disease—physical, mental, and spiritual—and offer holistic treatment that addressed all three.

Mental Health Disorders

Many of our clients struggle not only with substance use disorders, but also with mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD and other diagnoses. Here at the recovery center Florida facilities for JC Recovery, we have clinical experience in mental health care, and believe it important to address these underlying factors at the same time we offer addiction recovery.
