Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Alcohol & Drug Rehab for Dallas Residents
IOP Alcohol & Drug Treatment for Dallas, TX Residents
JC’s Recovery & Counseling Center in South Florida is a client-centered substance abuse treatment center that services people across the country who are looking to change their lives for the better. We offer outpatient substance abuse treatment services, including an intensive outpatient program for drug and alcohol treatment to Dallas residents.
Why Choose JC’s Recovery?
There are two key aspects of our program that are different from many other choices you have for drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. The first is that we offer a holistic-based program, which means we treat the mind, body, and spirit of a person struggling with substance abuse. While some programs only address your drug or alcohol use, our program can also help you assess if past trauma, mental illness, or other health concerns affect your current substance abuse. Then, we help you address these concerns as well as your substance abuse.
The second key aspect is that we offer a faith-based rehabilitation program. This faith-oriented program means that if you choose, you can participate in Christian rehabilitation services that include spiritual counseling, inspirational speakers, and daily prayers and meditation. Having the ability to speak freely and openly regarding your faith and how God can help you through this struggle can provide tremendous peace and hope in your life.

We create our programs to be as customizable as possible for our clients.

Choosing An Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center for Dallas Residents
Although some clients choose to participate in substance abuse rehabilitation close to home, others prefer the appeal of seeking recovery outside of their current city of residence. We have many Dallas-based clients who choose our Hollywood, Florida location to remove themselves from the ongoing stresses and pressures of their daily lives so they can focus solely on rehabilitation.
At JC’s Recovery, we offer assistance in finding lodging as you participate in our IOP program. We can help you make a seamless transition into substance abuse treatment and prepare for when it’s time to return to Dallas.
What To Expect During Treatment
It’s understandable to be unsure or even apprehensive about what to expect during treatment. We ask that you come with an open mind and a willingness to listen to our therapists and others. You can expect that during treatment at JC’s Recovery, you will:
• Explore your history with substance abuse
• Identify past triggers, trauma, and stressors that have led you to this point
• Understand how your current ways of thinking keep you in a pattern of addiction.
• Learn about how to nurture your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being
• Develop relapse prevention techniques that help you live a healthier lifestyle.
In treatment, you can expect that you will challenge yourself, learn more about yourself, and find your inner motivation and strength to live a substance-free lifestyle.
What Does A Day Look Like at JC’s Recovery?
A day at JC’s Recovery is focused on a routine, so you know what to expect from each day’s schedule. In a time of what can feel like considerable uncertainty in your life, structure, and the opportunity to participate in regular therapy sessions can be an excellent comfort source.
While there are of course variations, a day at JC’s Recovery may look something like this:
- good breakfast and moments for meditation/prayer
- Participation in a one-on-one or group therapy session
- Time for quiet reflection, meditation, and prayer.
- Healthy and restorative lunch
- Additional group or individual therapy sessions
- Motivational speakers, spiritual counseling sessions, or other special presentations
If you choose an evening IOP program, the schedule may be slightly adjusted for time.
How Is IOP Different Than Outpatient?
Intensive outpatient therapy is a step between partial hospitalization and outpatient therapy in terms of time involvement. At JC’s Recovery, you can participate in an IOP in the morning or evening session. This may enable you to keep up with work or school commitments whenever possible.
The program may be the next step after completing an inpatient program or as a step-down after completing a partial hospitalization program. The program still involves treatments such as one-on-one therapy and group therapy. However, you would not spend as long during the day as you would at a partial hospitalization program.
IOP For Alcohol Rehab for Dallas Residents
Our intensive outpatient therapy program for alcohol treatment focuses on a combination of behavioral, group therapies, and, in some instances, medications to help you treat alcohol addiction. During an IOP program for alcohol rehabilitation, you would participate in daily counseling to more closely examine your alcohol use and talk about your motivations and reasons behind your drinking. Then, you can turn the motivations for drinking into motivations for staying sober.
There are also aspects of our IOP program that focus on relapse prevention. This includes practicing what you would say if someone offered you a drink or pressured you to drink and recognize when your thought process is leading you toward a relapse. We also offer medication therapy, including long-acting naltrexone (Vivitrol) injections. These are injections the FDA has approved because of their ability to reduce cravings for alcohol.
As with all of our programs, you also have the option to participate in faith-based rehabilitation. This includes spiritual counseling, inspirational speakers, daily times for prayer and meditation, and other spiritual components. We believe that God’s healing power provides tremendous strength during the recovery process, and we are proud to offer these services as part of our IOP program.
IOP For Drug Rehab for Dallas Residents
Our intensive outpatient program for drug rehabilitation can help you if you struggle with substance abuse, including abusing one or more street or prescription drugs. Many of our Dallas clients come to use after completing an inpatient rehabilitation program or our partial hospitalization program for drug abuse.
Through an IOP program for drug use, you can focus on improving your mental, physical, and spiritual health. As with our IOP program for alcohol addiction, we offer individual and group therapies, wellness therapies (such as yoga), 12-step groups, and religious services. Through this program, we also focus on relapse prevention as an intensive outpatient program that puts you one step closer to outpatient therapy and maintenance treatments.
