“Meet a Miracle” is your chance to connect with those living in the solution and walking in faith.

LET’S MEET A MIRACLE! 

Name: Mandee or as Stevie calls me, Namaste Mandee  

Sobriety Date: 4/22/18

How many times did you try to get sober?  
 
This is my first time ever trying to get sober, and I believe I am so successful because I chose to make my first choice JC’s, I flew across the country to be here and it was the best thing I ever did for myself!  
 
 
Why was the program at JC’s recovery different?  

They provided me with a family when mine was across the country, I walked in feeling like I had known these people for years and they loved me until I could love myself again. They really get to know you on a personal level, like Stevie literally knows everyone of his clients names, I always thought that was so sweet of him to take the time to get to know each and everyone of his clients. They make you feel important and I had something to look forward to each day waking up being here, people I wanted to prove I could do this to, because they believed I could, so I believed I could!


 
What’s the greatest gift recovery has given you?  
 
Recovery has given be my life back! I don’t even remember who I was before I started drinking, but I LOVE who I am today! I practice self love everyday through my yoga and meditation, and that has made a huge difference. Recovery has given me a life worth living, I have an amazing husband who I would of never met if I didn’t fly across the country for sobriety, and we are expecting our little girl in just a couple short months! Recovery has given me the gift of forgiveness with a lot of bitterness I had in my life, and a family who truly trusts me and thinks I’m killin it at life!  
 

What words of hope do you have for those who are struggling with addiction?  
 
It can be done! I thought I could never go a day without a drink, and now I KNOW I could never go a day WITH a drink! It takes a support system though, and your willingness to surrender. And for the days you don’t feel you can anymore, reach out! Talk, meditate do whatever it is you need to do to get through the day, because it is a one day at a time program!
